What New Oldie stores

Your local profile name, learning progress, favourites, settings, quiz results and streak data are stored on your device. If you choose cloud backup, this data and your sign-in email are processed through Supabase so your progress can sync across devices.

Community data

If you use Community, your display name, messages and reactions are visible to other signed-in members. Reports and blocks are stored privately for safety, access control and moderation. Do not post sensitive personal information.

Service providers

New Oldie uses Supabase for optional authentication, cloud storage and community services, plus Google or Apple only when you choose that sign-in method. New Oldie does not sell personal data, run advertising or use cross-app tracking.

Your choices

You can use learning features without a cloud account, export your data, reset local progress, disconnect cloud sync or permanently delete your cloud account inside the app.

Retention and security

Local data remains until you reset it or remove the app data. Cloud account and backup data remain until account deletion or an applicable moderation action. Access is protected by authentication and database row-level security, but no service can promise absolute security.

Children

New Oldie is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13.
